One-third of COVID-19 infected police joins work after recovery

Following their recovery from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, one-third of the Bangladesh Police personnel has recently joined to their respective workplaces.

Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Public Relations and Media Branch at the police headquarters Md Sohail Rana confirmed the information to the media on Saturday.

The recovery rate of police personnel is 34.39 percent, he said.

As of Friday, about 1,563 invested members of Bangladesh Police returned home after receiving medical treatment, he said, adding that so far, 4,544 members, including senior officers at various levels, have been infected by coronavirus.
